Biodiesel News 2002 HIGH QUALITY IN BIODIESEL PRODUCTION Download : biodiesel.zip Martin, Slovakia – The highest quality in biodiesel production is the major goal of a team of research specialists at Slovak Technical University, a biodiesel plant supplier, and a group of biodiesel producers from Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, etc. Mr Vondrasek,Mr Pokorny and Mr M.Cvengros “Distilled Methylesters – Their Production, Quality and Utilization” was the main topic for discussion at an international workshop held in Damnikov, Czech Republic on October 10, 2002. Transesterification unit Speakers at this event presented information on the development of the theory for methylesters distillation. They also presented a detailed description of the technology employed by a distillation unit. The highlight of this event was a series of presentations made by sales and production managers of a new biodiesel production facility. At the plant, full biodiesel production is achieved through the processing of high quality methylesters in a distillation unit, as described earlier at the workshop. Distillation Unit The sales and production managers offered their practical knowledge of the proper material balance for distilled methylesters, and how to maintain high production quality, as well as the financial feasibility and the market utilization of the product. Participants of this event had opportunity to visit the biodiesel plant where further details were presented by Mr. Jan Cvengros, a biodiesel research specialist from STU, Bratislava, and Mr. Martin Cvengros, biodiesel technology line expert from DAMT-MDT, j.s.c. in Martin, Slovakia.
