In line with the principle of subsidiarity, i.e. taking into account the fact that matters of national relevance are best dealt with by institutions within each country, ECEE aims to assist in an area which is to date, not fully covered, namely the provision of information in the field of international environmental education. ECEE's structure is very simple: you ask and we try to respond. Its comprehensive database, with contact addresses of specialists working on environmental education in over 30 European countries, as well as its access to the major environment and educational networks, mean that ECEE is uniquely placed to help with the search for information on different aspects of environmental education.

Enquiries, which for the time being are free of charge, may be made in English, French, Germany, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish, by post or E-mail. To keep costs down and to enable a measurement of the impact of ECEE, no phone/fax enquiries will be possible, so please make sure you give yourself enough time in order that your request be duly processed.
