Title of newsletter : Greenway Newsletter Published by : Greenway Year : 1995, Number : 23 UNECIA's Environmental Education Development GroupUNECIA's Environmental Education Development Group was established in 1994 to contribute to the development of environmental education in the world's developing economies, particulary those of Central and Eastern Europe. A number of UNECIA's constituent universities are leaders in the field of environmental education and also operate in association with both British and international partners. They provide advice, consultancy, training and other specialist activites in all aspects of environmental education including policy, curriculum development, research, evaluation and monitoring. UNECIA constituent universities have been particulary supportive of environmental education in primary and secondary schools together with the appropriate teacher training, both initial and in-service (INSET). UNECIA is the consortium of British universities: Bradford, Hull, Keele, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Salford, Sheffield and York.
