WHO WE ARE

Pollution Prevention Center (PPC) at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty sponsored by USAID through Word Environment Center (WEC) in New York.

PPC ACTIVITIES

The PPC is designed to be self-sustaining environmental center that can provide industry with following activities:

	Development and implementation of environmental protection/waste minimization programs,
	Industry-wide workshops to demonstrate cost-effective environmental protection programs,
	Training programs in environmental management,
	Access to international environmental protection reports,
	Disseminating information regarding environmental protection programs with similarly oriented organizations worldwide, and
	Measurement with equipment to identifying of source of leakadge in plants

Waste Minimization Impact Program (WMIP) - visits in plants which are interested in implementation of Waste Minimization Program

Services

	Measurments with Foxboro TVA 1000 equipment in chemical and other industry plants for identification of leakadge sources of VOC
	Measurement of waste water properties and liquid flow rate measurement
	Training courses in 10 step Waste Minimization Program
	Training courses in Environmental Management System (in preparation)
	Broad base of various environmental books and manuals, mostly from american sources (US EPA, AiChe...) for presentation study.
