V tlaku ekonomickych starosti ustupuje z centra pozornosti zaujem
o zivotne prostredie, do popredia sa dostava obchod a ciel
zarobit peniaze. Ich pomocnikom je doprava, bez dopravy niet
prosperity.
Doprava vstupuje do nasho zivota v novych podobach. Zivotne
prostredie to nie je len voda, vzduch, poda; zivotne prostredie
to je aj atmosfera pohybu a dynamiky, silociary neviditelnych
spojeni, ktorymi prebieha tok informacii. Z nich vznika tlak,
napatie, poznanie rozhodnuti. Su to spravy dobre, aj zle. Novou
dimenziou odvetvia je "doprava" informacii, kontakt s vnutornym
zivotnym prostredim cloveka. Informacie zacinaju rozhodovat
o pohode i dlzke nasho zivota. V zapase o zivotne prostredie sa
dostavaju na scenu nove otazky udrzatelneho stavu nasho zivota.
Znamena to aj pochopit a ovladnut proces rozvoja dopravy. Uz to
nie je len cestna, zeleznicna, lodna ci letecka, pod dopravou
rozumieme aj prenos ci pretazenie informaciami v stale sa
rozsirujucej podobe. S tymto cielom sa prve tohorocne cislo
casopisu Zivotne prostredie prihovara svojim citatelom. Chcelo by
upozornit, ze nesputana doprava je hrozbou nasho zivota.
Doprava ma svoj teoreticky rozmer, nadobuda nove dimenzie, ma aj
svoju kazdodennu prax. Doprava spaja ludi, krajiny, svet. A svet
zije v prvom rade na kolesach. Kazdy stat buduje spojenia so
svetom, buduje dopravne siete. Stupa intenzita premiestnovania
osob i tovarov, clovek je svedkom nebyvalych premien, cesty si
podriaduju krajinu aj sidla. Doprava je predmetom novych
projektov, prekonava nielen hranice, ale aj koncepcie
jednotlivych statov. Aj Slovensko stoji pred prijatim novej
koncepcie uzemneho rozvoja, a teda aj dopravy. Chceme len
zdoraznit jej dolezitost.
S dopravou sa stretavame na kazdom kroku, je tazkym udelom zivota
v mestach i na vidieku, predmetom kazdodennych starosti. Nas
casopis sa jej bude venovat systematicky, dnes sme nastolili
niektore problemy, v dalsich cislach budeme adresnejsi.
Najsilnejsim hlasom sucasnej dopravy su dialnice, ich vyznam, ale
aj dosledky nam opravnene nedavaju spavat. Doprava, ako prejav ci
nositel mobility a dynamiky, je s nami, je aj v nas. Nasou ulohou
je starostlivo menit jej ucinky na zivot cloveka.

Traffic
As a result of economic pressure the interest in the environment
extincts from the focus of our attention and business and profit
comes to the limelight. Traffic is an assister, prosperity does
not exist without traffic.
Traffic comes to our life in new shapes. Environment is not only
water, air and soil, environment is also the atmosphere of
movement and dynamics, line of force of invisible connections
where flow information. From them arise pressure, tension,
decisions. They are good news good but at the same time also bad.
A new dimension is the "traffic" of information, contact with
inner environment of man. Information start to decide about the
comfort and lenght of our life. In the fight for environment come
up new questions of sustainable state of our life. It means to
understand and control the process of development of traffic. It
is not only highway, railway, ship or air transport, under the
term transport we understand also the transfer of information in
a permanently extenting shape. By this aim is addressed the this
year,s first issue of the revue Zivotne prostredie to its
readers. It would like to point out that uncontrolled traffic is
a threat to our life. Traffic has its own theoretical dimension,
it gets new ones and it has its own everyday practice. Traffic
connects people, countries, world. And the world lives first of
all on wheels. Every country builds connections with the world,
they build traffic networks. The intesity of movement of persons
and articles increases, man is the witness of huge changes, roads
submitted the landscape and also settlements. Traffic is the
object of new projects, it overcomes not only frontiers but also
conceptions of single states. Also Slovakia stands before
acceptation of the new conception of territorial development,
i.e. also traffic. We want only to put emphasis on its
importance.
We meet traffic every day, it is our hard deal of life in towns
and also in the country, it is the subject of our everyday
troubles. Our journal will be devoted to this problem
systemetically, today we mentioned certain problems, in future
issues we try to be more addressed.
The strongest manifestation of present traffic are motorways,
their importance, but also consequences do not allow us to sleep.
Traffic as manifestation or bearer of mobility and dynamics is
here, is in us. Our task is to carefully change its influences on
life.
