+Environmentalna vychova a vzdelavanie++
sa stavaju klucovymi problemami v strategii starostlivosti o zivotne prostredie
v Slovenskej republike. Na medzinarodnej urovni, najma v ramci vladnych
a medzivladnych programov, rozpracuvaju sa mnohe koncepcie, organizuju
konferencie, seminare, kurzy a rozvijaju rozne dalsie aktivity. Hlavnym
cielom tohto snazenia je vyjasnit si, akym sposobom zabezpecit, aby si
sucasna a buduce generacie pri kazdej svojej cinnosti vytvorili vedomie
zodpovednosti za zachovanie prostredia a zivotnych podmienok nielen pre
seba, ale i pre tych, co pridu po nich.
Zlozitost starostlivosti o trvalo udrzatelny rozvoj zivota na Zemi
a o podmienky jeho prostredia sa odraza aj v zlozitosti sposobov a predstav
o vychove a vzdelavani clenov ludskej spolocnosti v tomto smere. Krystalizuje
sa predstava, ze environmentalistika, ktora sa zaobera problematikou zivotneho
prostredia v celej jeho sirke, nie je totozna s ekologiou ako vednou disciplinou,
ale musi spocivat na jej principoch a zakladoch. Na styku tychto dvoch
oblasti poznania sa postupne formuje environmentalna ekologia ako aplikacia
ekologickych poznatkov do riesenia environmentalnych problemov.
Sucasny stav environmentalneho vzdelavania a vychovy vyvolava potrebu
diferencovanej koncepcie riesenia aktualneho stavu na vsetkych stupnoch
vzdelavania, kde doteraz absentovalo, a sucasne polozenie zakladov systemoveho
pristupu k environmentalnej vychove a vzdelavaniu od predskolskeho az po
tzv. treti vek.
Dve narodne konferencie -- r. 1994 a r. 1995 -- priniesli vela nazorov
a podnetov, ktore vyustili do zaverov navrhujucich urcite riesenia. Potesujuci
je fakt, ze mnohe z nich sa uz uskutocnili, alebo uskutocnuju a ze sa vytvaraju
priaznive podmienky nielen v rezorte skolstva a zivotneho prostredia, ale
aj v inych rezortoch a mimovladnych organizaciach. Do tohto cisla Zivotneho
prostredia sme sustredili dalsie podnety v clankoch, ktore su odrazom nazorov,
vyslovenych na spominanych dvoch narodnych konferenciach i na dalsich podobnych
podujatiach.
+Environmental education and teaching++
becomes a key issue in the strategy of the care of the environment in the
Slovak Republic. On international level, mainly in the frame of governmental
and non-governmental programs are elaborated many conceptions, are organized
conferences, seminars, courses and are developed other activities. The
main aim of this effort is to clear up the mood how to ensure that present
and future generations in their activities formed the sense of responsibility
for conservation of the environment and life conditions not only for themselves,
but also for those ones coming after them. Complexity of the care of sustainable
development on the Earth and of conditions of its environment is reflected
also in complexity of moods and ideas of education of human beings. An
idea is crystallized - environmentalistics dealing with the problems of
the environment is not identical with ecology as a scientific disciplines,
but it has to be built on their principles and bases. On the touching point
of these two substance of knowledge is gradually formed environmental ecology
as an application of ecological knowledge in solution of environmental
problems.
The present state of environmental education raises a need of differentiated
conception of the solution of actual state in all stages of education where
it has been absent up to now and at the same time to establish the system
approach to environmental education from pre-school up to the so called
third age. Two national conferences -- in the years 1994 and 1995 -- brought
many opinions and stimulations that culminates in conclusions proposing
certain solutions. It is a welcome fact that many of them have been realized
or are realized and are formed positive conditions not only in educational
affairs and the environment but in other governmental and non-governmental
organizations. We collected to this issue of Zivotne prostredie further
stimulations in articles reflecting the opinions formulated on the above
mentioned two national conferences and similar events.
